Would not we all like to just be that!

I been out of the loop becuase 3 of the cats go real sick eating some decaying rodents that were under the furnace.
I knew something was wrong because the other cats were running back and forth and chasing one another like chickens with their heads cut off. I was trying to watch my stories, and I could barely hear the damn plost, so I got the broom out and made it go back and forth until I kept a clear path to the tv. On one of the commercials I smelled something real bad, so I checked my feet and it aint that, and then I smelled the couch and I thought it was that but then the story started again so I just said 'forget about it' in my own mind.

2 days later alls I know is the cats are gagging up something awful. Most of it had skulls in it, so I knew they had been under the damn furnace again. I talked to Sally and she reckons they'll be fine, but those cats are crazy if they think I'm going to go into Mindyville this time of year just to get them antibodies. They can rest it off and hopefully next time they'll learn the lesson that you shouldn't go under the furnace. I have known that for a long time. Oh great, now I have to brush the dust balls off of them faces as well. Thanks a lot. It must nice if just ONE DAY I COULD RELAX AROUND HERE. In the meantime they don't have to do no chores and just get to lounge around under the ducts all day and eat canned. It must be nice.

You should put the rodents in the fridge so they won't decay so fast. Keeping them under the furnace is just asking for trouble.

I have had success by using leftover bunting around the base of the furnace. it makes for a real celebration feeling and it keeps those dust bunnies out of site!

Thanks mindyville mom that way it can be Christmas at the base all year! As long as I keep the buntling wet it won't catch fire that way! I like the idea that it can be Christmas all year round now when I'm down near there.

sometimes I leave a few pinecones and candy canes lying aroud, just for fun. its not hurting anyone and I put them away when the neibors come for a visit.

Not hurting anyone?? Are you crazy?!? Have you ever stepped on a pine cone, or gotten a candy cane lodged in your throat?? Jeez...those are the two most dangerous things you can leave lying around!
